FOOTBALL FOR ALL CREATORS WIN MAJOR AWARD

They’ve changed the lives of children across the Hunter, and now the husband and wife team behind Maitland Football for All have been awarded for their efforts, named Football Federation Australia’s volunteers of the year.

The club, established by Alex Threadgate and Alex Malam (MAL-am) caters for children with special needs, allowing them to participate in mainstream football with the focus purely on fun.
