OSTEOPATH PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO SEXUAL ASSAULT

A Northern Rivers Osteopath accused of sexually assaulting four women at an Alstonville clinic between November 2009 and February 2010 has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The doctor who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with committing two counts of aggravated indecent assault and three counts of aggravated sexual assault while under his authority.

His defence has applied for a relocation of the trial, due to previous publicity on the Far North Coast.

The doctor’s bail has been continued until July 19.
