The community will have its say on a draft plan to upgrade a stretch of Ocean Drive in Port Macquarie at two forums next week.
The project will see the duplication of a three kilometre stretch of road between Greenmeadows Drive and Matthew Flinders Drive.
It will also include a pedestrian link between Greenmeadows Drive and the Lighthouse Plaza.
Council has received a $10 million state government grant for part of the project, but is yet to secure the funds necessary to complete it.
The state government funded component should be complete by the end of 2015.
