A 12-year-old girl was stabbed in Glen Innes overnight in what police say was a targeted attack.
It’s alleged a 38-year-old woman stabbed the victim a number of times about 7.30pm and fled the scene, before being arrested later that night.
The girl was taken to Glen Innes hospital with puncture wounds to her body, before being flown to Lismore in a stable condition.
