Tweed teenagers on the verge of getting drivers licences were put through their paces today.
The CAMS Ignition program rolled into town, to teach school students the basics.
“You foot’s always on the foot-rest ready for something to go wrong – you haven’t got time, you don’t get sent a text message to say when you get round this corner there’s a car broken down you better get ready for it.”
The education day was part of the Car-nival festival, which is at Murwillumbah showgrounds tomorrow.
