Police are investigating whether a man, arrested in Casino last night, is linked to a house fire.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze, on the corner of Mealeuca Place and Oaks Avenue, just after 8pm.
There was no one inside, and when police arrived at the scene, there were reports of a male being seen with a firearm.
A man was later detained, and is assisting police with their inquiries.
He’s been charged with domestic-related offences.
