CREWS CONTINUE TO BATTLE BUSHFIRE
Four camping grounds in the Crowdy Bay National Park remain closed, as fire fighters continue to battle a large bushfire.
It’s believed to have started near the Crowdy Gap camping area on Tuesday, before it escaped containment lines and moved towards Harrington.
The fire is now burning north of the village towards Diamond Head.
RFS crews, assisted by water-bombers, continued efforts today to contain the fire, which has torn through more than 3000 hectares of bushland.
