Hospitals aren’t normally the place you’d expect to see smiles, but today Tamworth hospital’s children’s ward was full of cheerful faces, as a very special, and colourful character stopped by.
Clumsy the Smurf posed for photos and delivered gifts to patients this afternoon.
“We thought it would be a nice opportunity to come and bring him to the kids that can’t actually make it to the shows. So, we’ve brought him up to the hospital to visit the sick kids.”
Clumsy and his fellow Smurf friends will also be visiting the city’s Shoppingworld throughout the remainder of the school holidays.
