SCORPIONS BEAT MAITLAND IN REAL NRL ROUND 11

In the Real NRL, Kurri edged out Cessnock, Lakes scored a big upset against Souths.
Macquarie beat Maitland to take third spot.
The Scorpions hit the front when Chris Hyde set up Royce Geoffry.
Hyde got lucky next time around, his pass fooled a few players, before Shane Beale grabbed a try.
When the Pickers chanced their arm at the other end, Ryan Lacy dived over to get Maitland on the board.
Andy Sumner had plenty of input into Macquarie’s next four pointer, starting and finishing the long range effort.
The Pickers got back into the game thanks to Terrence Seu Seu.
The former NRL rake set up Maitland’s next two tries to level the score at the break.
Maitland scored first through Luke Clydesdale in the second half, but the Scorpions finished on top.
