The Lismore Chamber of Commerce is no longer a member of the region’s business panel, announcing its shock exit at last night’s council meeting.
Chairman David Martin sighting management issues as the cause behind the resignation.
“As such we resign our position and also advise that we will be sending that letter of resignation with further and deeper explanation of concerns around that governence and management.”
Mayor Jenny Dowell says she hopes the chamber will reconsider its decision.
