A crash at the Spit sparked a full scale manhunt this afternoon.
Witnesses reported seeing this stolen car hooning, before it slammed into the Seaway wall, and very nearly landed in the Broadwater.
Three young men bolted, taking their puppy with them.
The chopper joined Police rhinos in the hour-long search.
Officers eventually tracked down all three suspects.
“Dunno, I was going for a walk with my dog.”
“My Daughter was running around next to him and I sort of freaked out and grabbed my daughter.”
