A 23-year-old man has been given strict conditional bail after allegedly driving at excessive speeds while drunk on the Back Kootingal Road.
Police pursued the vehicle along Calala Lane in the early hours of Saturday morning, but terminated the pursuit for safety reasons.
The vehicle then continued to the intersection of Goonoo Goonoo road, crashed into the roundabout, rolled onto its roof and hit a brick wall.
He was charged with mid-range drink driving, driving whilst disqualified, not stopping for police and driving in a dangerous manner.
