A Taree man who allegedly tried to lure 12-year-old girl to his home yesterday has faced Taree Local Court.
It’s believed the 38-year-old struck up a conversation with the girl while she was sitting on a bench outside Taree library.
He allegedly offered her CDs, magazines and lollies to go with him.
The man didn’t apply for bail and it was formally refused.
The matter will be back before court tomorrow.
