Police claim, they had to jump for their lives after trying to intercept a stolen car at Burleigh Heads overnight.
“When approached by police that vehicle travelled directly towards police vehicle in a dangerous manner narrowly missing the police vehicle.”
Two 26 year old women from Brisbane were taken into custody, after their stolen car mounted the gutter and hit an embankment.
The drama started earlier when police saw the car’s occupants acting suspiciously near a restaurant.
Police are still trying to track down a Lexus four-wheel-drive, seen travelling alongside the stolen car.
