KURRI BELT CENTRAL IN NEWCASTLE RUGBY LEAGUE ROUND 12

NEWCASTLE RUGBY LEAGUE
Round 12

SOUTHS 28 – LAKES 8
WESTS 38 – PORT STEPHENS 22
KURRI KURRI 54 – CENTRAL 6

In the Real NRL Souths beat Lakes, Wests got home against the Sharks, while Kurri smashed Central.
The Bulldogs got the ball rolling as the halves set up Scott Dunn for the opener.
Lock forward Ben Wyborn then produced a solid solo effort to grab Kurri’s second.
When George Ndaira and Mark Khierallah combined, the visitors were in control.
Centre Damien Walters showed plenty of brute strength down the left to score his first.
His second proved to be a whole lot easier a few minutes later.
Fullback Nathan Ross made a mockery of the Butcher Boys defence, shortly before the break.
