Wests have moved to the top of the Newcastle Rugby League Ladder on for and against after handing the Scorpions their first defeat of the season.
Macquarie was first on the board in the top of the table clash but the momentum quickly swung Wests way.

The Scorps hit back in the second through Trent Hawes, but it wasn’t enough – 36-16 the final score to the Rosellas.
