WEATHER UPDATE: MUCH NEEDED INLAND RAIN

Finally some rain for the NW and Upper Hunter. The last time decent rain fell across inland areas was early March. The good news is, tonight’s rain will be widespread, the bad news, totals wont be big as the system will move through quickly and most locations will see the sun return before Tuesday is over.

Once the rain band passes winds will swing to the SW and cold, dry air will move in keeping temperatures down but the days will be mostly sunny for all. Some freezing nights are on the way inland especially across the higher elevated areas.

Another pulse of swell will hit the coast this weekend as the low moves into the Tasman.
