SIX INJURED IN JOHN RENSHAW CAR ACCIDENT

Six people, including two young children, have been injured in a three car accident on John Renshaw Drive this morning.

Eight ambulances attended the scene after the cars collided just before 10am this morning at Buchanan.

A female was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital suffering from a leg injury.

A 21-year-old mother and her two young boys, aged 2 and 3, were also injured in the prang and taken by road to hospital in a stable condition.

The 60-year-old male driver of another of the vehicles and his 23-year-old passenger were also taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
