MAN STABLE AFTER MOTORBIKE CRASH NEAR KURRI KURRI

A man in his 40s had to be airlifted to hospital on Friday, after a motorcycle accident near Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley.

The 42-year-old was left with abdominal injuries following the crash at Cliftleigh, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter among the emergency services called to the scene.

The injured man was stabilised at the scene by paramedics, before being flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.

He was reported to be in a stable condition.
