TEENAGER SURVIVES BAY CLIFF FALL

A 17-year-old boy is in a stable condition after falling more than 10-metres down a cliff at Port Stephens.
The teenager was walking along the cliff at Fishermans Bay just after 2pm when the edge gave way beneath him.
He landed in a rock pool, suffering chest and back injuries.
Rescuers took close to an hour to reach the boy, due to the rugged terrain.

He was flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital aboard the Westpac Rescue helicopter.
