There will be plenty of motorsport action in Kempsey on the weekend, as the local Sporting Car Club hosts the opening round of the New South Wales Hillclimb Championships.
Last year’s Australian champion Tim Edmondson and state champion Doug Barry will be among the quality field of competitors.
Racing will take place on a section of the old Pacific Highway at Mount Cooperabung, between Port Macquarie and Kempsey.
Competition gets underway at 9:30 on Sunday morning.
