TRUCK DRIVER CHARGED OVER SINGLETON SCHOOL BUS CRASH
The truck driver involved in an accident with a school bus, where a nine-year-old boy died in Singleton last year, has been charged with having prescribed illicit drugs in his system.
In September 2012 a nine-year-old boy was killed when a prime mover and the school bus collided.
Two seven-year-old boys, including the nine-year-old’s brother, suffered serious head injuries.
Last Wednesday, the truck driver from Queensland, was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, negligent driving occasioning death and driving a motor vehicle with a prescribed illicit drug present in his blood/urine.
He will face Singleton Local Court in March.
