Jack Newton’s Junior Golf Foundation is locked at six-all with Greg Norman’s Foundation, following day one of their State of Origin clash in Newcastle.
The Queenslanders took out the mixed foursome event 4-2 this morning, before New South Wales backed up this afternoon to claim the fourball round.
Newton’s foundation has Grant Booth and Cameron Davis to thank, one of only two teams to secure maximum points against their opponents from north of the border.
