A 43 year-old Narrabri woman has died in hospital overnight after she was found lying on a road with serious head injuries on New Years Eve.
At around 10pm on Monday night the woman was found lying unconscious on Peel Street.
She was treated at Narrabri Hospital before being airlifted to Sydney where she died last night.
Police are treating the death as suspicious.
