A woman is lucky to be alive after her car left the road and rolled near Bective this afternoon.
Police say the 42-year-old was travelling west along the Oxley Highway.
“The vehicle has left the roadway. It appears to have rolled several times, and then come to rest in a creek bed.” – Acting Inspector Stuart Campbell
Emergency services worked for more than an hour to free her.
She was taken to Tamworth Hospital suffering severe lacerations to the head.
