MAN ACCUSED OF SCHOOL THREATS

Just days after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in the US, a NSW man has been charged with making threats against a school in the Hunter.
Police say the threats were allegedly made during a phone call
with an insurance company.
It’s alleged the call was made early yesterday morning.
Police later arrested and charged a 40-year-old Thornton man.
He’s been granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear in Maitland Local Court on January 14.
