National Parks and Wildlife Services have completed their wild pig control operation today, dropping around 20 poisonous baits in the Ballina Nature reserve.
The operation was the first aerial assault on the area in three years.
Pet owners are urged to keep their furry friends well clear of the reserve as the baits are toxic to domestic animals.
