WEATHER UPDATE: HOT & CLOUDY

Lots of cloud is streaming across the country from WA that layer of high cloud will affect large areas of the region over the weekend.

The northerly influence will make sure temperatures remain high.

There isn’t too much in the way of rain expected, just some shower activity about the ranges stretching from the Barringtons to Tenterfield building overnight Saturday clearing Sunday morning.

The swell will remain quite solid on the north NSW coast and SE QLD. This will combine with the big tides producing strong currents and rips.

Crossing bars will also be quite dangerous this weekend so take care.
