LISMORE ‘SIGNS’ OFF ON ITS OPPOSITION TO CSG

Lismore Council has further cemented its opposition to coal seam gas mining.

At last night’s meeting councillors voted to erect signage on the outskirts of town which will declare the shire coal seam gas free.

It also resolved to ask the public health unit to investigate the possible health impacts that an active industry could bring.
