WEATHER UPDATE: COASTAL SHOWERS DRYING UP

It’s been a wet 48 hours along the ranges and east of the Divide thanks to some very consistent onshore winds.

That onshore influence is going to continue and the shower activity will break up as they contract northward to the border.

Over the NW and Plains it will be a fine, dry, run for the rest of the week. It is a similar story for the Greater Hunter.

There is a low set to form in the southern Coral Sea that will generate a increased swell which will combine with some large tidal swings due to the new moon on Thursday.

The next change will affect the southern areas, mostly the Central Coast and Hunter across the weekend.
