WEATHER UPDATE: RAIN ON THE WAY

Cloud is set to increase during Friday and rain to develop in the south across the Hunter before spreading north to the MNC and inland over the Western Slopes.

Showers and storms will develop ahead of the rain band and associated southerly affecting the NW and Tablelands.

The rain band will spread across northern NSW during Saturday moving onto SE QLD on Sunday. The timing isn’t fantastic stealing much of the weekend but follow up falls to last weeks rain will be very handy.

The good news for the Hunter is, most of the rain should move through early. So it’ll be a bit like last weekend, a cool cloud affected Saturday with the showers all clearing for a mostly fine Sunday.
