A woman has died after being thrown from her car and run over, during a mutli vehicle accident on the F3 near Berowra last night.
The accident involved two cars and a fire truck which was on its way to an earlier crash near the Hawkesbury River.
The driver of one of the cars, a 76-year-old man, is in a critical condition with head, internal and suspected spinal injuries.
The 33-year-old male driver of the fire truck, and the driver of the other car, a 24-year-old woman, were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
