Fullerton Cove residents have travelled to Sydney for the first day of legal action in their fight to stop Dart Energy’s coal seam gas project in the area.
Dozens of residents travelled to the Land and Environment court this morning calling for a more rigorous environmental assessment of the drilling.
Last month a court granted a temporary injunction to stop drilling at the site, after protesters blockaded the site.
The hearing will finish on Wednesday.
