Central Coast sailor Tom Slingsby believes he’s delivered a message to his London Olympics rivals with a dominant gold medal performance at the World Cup in The Netherlands.
The World Sailor of the Year was consistent throughout the competition week, winning six out 10 Laser races and finishing top 10 in all, to emerge 16 points clear.
The Lake Macquarie-based 49er crew of Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen won a silver medal on Sunday.
