Excitement’s building at the Tweed River Art Gallery, after the development application for the Margaret Olley Centre was given the green light.
Tenders for the design and construction of the building will be called later this month.
The addition will feature a replica of the celebrated painter’s home studio.
“In Sydney at the Paddington end the project coordinator has almost finished the complete pack up Margaret’s house.”
The centre’s on track to open in December next year.
