Talk about a fish out of water…these giants are set to hit the streets of Newcastle tonight, for the launch of the This is Not Art festival, and Bikefest.
Originally shown at Sydney’s VIVID Festival, the roving artworks have been brought to the city by one of their creators, Cassie Stronach.
Built on a bicycle taxi base, the sculptures are crafted from recycled materials, and just like real Anglerfish, they glow in the dark.
