The Newman government has been rocked by another scandal involving a Minister’s child.
The son of Gold Coast MP, Arts Minister, Ros Bates, is now being investigated by the Crime and Misconduct Commission, amid allegations he’s underqualified for his senior position.
A Courier Mail investigation has revealed 25-year-old Ben Gommers has worked for his mother’s lobbying business and as a salesman for Toys R Us.
The CMC is investigating his appointment to a top position within the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
