Family and friends of North Coast Greyhound Integrity Officer, Ron Matthews packed the pews at Lismore’s Memorial Gardens this morning to pay their respects to the well known racing identity.
“Lights will guide you home, rei-gnite your soul and I will fix you.”
Ron began his long affiliation with Greyhound Racing New South Wales in the late seventies; his achievements included being named Tasmania’s Chairman of Stewards in 1988.
The 64 year old passed away unexpectedly on Friday.
