Northern Tablelands landholders are being urged to take part in the Local Land Service’s annual fox baiting program, which gets underway today.
So far, 27 groups are taking part, in a bid to put a dent in the fox population.
This time of year provides ideal conditions for the European fox, which impacts on the local population of lambs.
The program’s scheduled to wrap up on July 16.
