An animal rescue group is scrambling to find foster homes for five dogs, found dumped in bushland near Medowie.
The chihuahuas and terrier-crosses were discovered off the Bucketts Way yesterday, with one bag of food and no water.
Volunteers say one of the dogs is pregnant, another had recently given birth and there are obvious signs of neglect.
It’s believed another two are still missing.
