LEGACY LYMPICS

The start of the London games may still be a few hours off

but some un-official Olympic action got underway at Gosford today.

130 widows took part in the Legacy Lympics, an event which is held every four years in conjunction with the real games.

“It’s just great for them to get together with their friends or people they don;t see that often, it just gets them out of their houses and they really enjoy the social interaction.”

And just like the real thing, the Legacy Lympics wouldn’t be complete without a visit from her Majesty.
