SNOW REPORT: 12th July 2012
Luke Kneller has an update on the slopes.
Recent snowfalls of 12cms topped up the cover very nicely and will be a great base for the lighter dryer snow we are expecting over the weekend.
46 lifts were in operation across all 4 interlinked resort areas.
87 runs were groomed overnight with a soft cover across the entire resort.
Sun Valley, Towers, Easy Rider and Shnaxl were the picks today with plenty on offer for every level of skier and boarder.
Huge news for the jibbers today, the slopestyle on front valley now has a massive 3 jump line.
It’s honestly one of the best jump lines I’ve seen in Australia and with more snow on the forecast it’s only going to get better.
There is more than enough on offer still for beginners and intermediates with Columbia fun park and Leichardt filled with smaller features.
We are expecting the northerly winds to ramp up again this afternoon bringing with them scattered snow and rain showers but with 10-20cms on the forecast for the weekend, it’s looking good.
