Bendemeer cricket sensation Josh Hazelwood has scored a state contract, with the paceman named in the 2012-13 New South Wales squad.
The 21-year-old will perform alongside a host of younger team mates, after a number of key players from last year’s squad went into retirement.
Veterans Simon Katich and Stuart Clark were among those to leave, while Nathan Hauritz has moved interstate.
