CALLS FOR RARE HAWKSBILL TURTLE TO BE LISTED AS ENDANGERED IN NSW

The state opposition is calling for the rare Hawksbill Sea Turtle to be placed on the New South Wales threatened species list.

It comes as three of the creatures are released back into sea off Byron Bay, after an unexpected arrival last summer.
