A driver is dead after his log truck rolled on a rural road just outside Casino on the far north coast this afternoon.
Police say the man had just picked up a load of logs from a nearby worksite, when he lost control of the rig.
“For some reason he’s gone on the left hand side of the road, through a fence and into a paddock and the truck has rolled. We’re not sure if it was a load shift or speed at this stage.”
The man is yet to be formally identified.
