A jury has been shown a machete and knife allegedly used in a fatal confrontation between two rival groups at Raymond Terrace two years ago.
Joshua Dillon Maynard was shot during the 2010 dispute, involving him and several others on Links Drive.
Chad Sheddon is currently being tried before the Supreme Court in Newcastle for murder.
The jury has been shown exhibits collected at the scene, including a machete, a large knife and a hammer.
A crossbow was also shown.
