12-YEAR-OLD BOY HAILED A HERO AFTER SAVING THREE TOURISTS FROM DROWNING

Lifeguards have praised a 12-year-old boy from Port Stephens, who helped save the lives of three Japanese tourists.

The family was holidaying in the area when their quick swim at a local beach nearly ended in tragedy.
