Fire has destroyed a general store and petrol station at Grevillia north of Kyogle this morning.
Around 15 firefighters battled the blaze on Summerland Way for almost an hour and half.
Their job was made even more difficult by the presence of several gas cylinders and petrol pumps.
There were also concerns the fire could jump to the nearby Hall.
“It’s good that the hall has been saved and no one’s been injured in this process and all persons at this stage have been accounted for.” said Superintendent Boyd Townsend from the New South Wales Fire Service.
Forensic investigators are now working to determine the cause of the blaze.
