Tweed and Byron Shire Councils have been granted state government funding to deal with the impacts of coastal hazards and erosion.
In the Tweed, $75,000 will be put towards a further study into the severe erosion problem at Kingscliff.
While in Byron, $25,000 will go towards updating information to help with the development of a new coastal zone management plan.
