Police investigating the suspicious death of a Hunter Valley woman earlier this month, have located a body, thought to be that of her husband, in a remote bushland setting.
Despite extensive searches of Southern Lake Macquarie and the Watagan Mountains, Darren Fishburn hadn’t been sighted since his wife, Tammy Sindermann, was found apparently strangled in a backyard shed at Greta near Maitland, three weeks ago.
Late yesterday the body of a man, which is yet to be formally identified, was found inside a vehicle on the Watagan Forest Road, near Cooranbong.
